Yes, I do realize it is April and that the holidays are long over. but you see, we just "cashed" in our gift from my brother, sister and their spouses. They got us an AMEX gift card and a weekend away. While they came over and watched the boys, Jeremy and I got to go to San Diego and stay at Devon and Dave's BEAUTIFUL new place and live the life of leisure. We started off by heading to the island of Coronado and hanging out at the Hotel del Coronado. It was the perfect day to hang out at the resort. It was about 90 degrees on the beach and it was packed. In the evening, while my siblings and their sig. others had to endure John's Incredible Pizza (like Circus Circus for children) Jer and I were enjoying the view from Devon's roof (check out the view of Petco Park and Coronado island) with a glass of champagne and Devon's homemade appetizers, followed by dinner in the Gaslamp District. On Sunday while Tim was busy chaperoning the Carl's Jr. play area, we were getting breakfast and massages. It was AWESOME! We had so much fun. Thank you to all of you for such a great gift.

that sounds SO relaxing. i'm glad you guys had a great time. (this might sound bad, coming from another mama...but, being in san diego alone for the weekend sounded so much better than john's incredible pizza and carl's jr.). sorry just being honest...i'm sure the boys had a lot of fun too. ~s

Just to echo Shannon's comment, having been one of the peeps at John's Incredible Pizza (it should be called John's Incredibly Insane Chuck E. Cheese on crack in Vegas Pizza or something to that effect), I think Heather and Jeremy were in a much more peaceful place! So glad you guys enjoyed yourselves!!! We love you!
Well, I have heard all about this John's Incredible Pizza Place and I have been wanting to take my kids....maybe not? Where you were sounds much more relaxing! What a great gift!
